DragonFly Pond

After doing this activity I learned that everything is built and spread out so there won’t be any problems in the long run. One thing I would do differently is not out the highway above the pond just to make sure that no waste goes inside the pond. I’m definitely going to try to pick up any trash I see thrown on the ground to help out with the environment.

Bottle Biome Observation

Today in class I made a Bottle Biome with: 2 dada bottles, soil, string, grass, and rocks. First we cut of the top of bottle #1 and the bottom of bottle #2, then we put rocks, and de chlorinated water at the bottom of bottle #1. Then we put bottle #2 upside down in bottle number #1 and cut a whole in the cap to put a sting to connect the bottom and the top. Once we put the string through the bottle cap we put 1 layer of soil, a layer of grass and seeds and then a layer of moist soil. After all that we topped it off with putting a cap on the top and tapped everything together to make out Bottle Biome.

Selecting our Fish

Today, as a team, we chose; two Zebra Danio’s, one Neon Tetra, and one Dalmatian Molly. We chose these fish because they are all comparable with each other and they all are pretty cheap. We divided the price into all of us and it comes out to be $2 dollars per person for all the fish plus extra if the fish die and we need to replace one.
